What a great week, but so glad its over :P  Chad is visiting family out of town, and Casey is elsewhere - so I was on my own for the weekend,  until Leo joined me Saturday afternoon for an overnighter.

Stories and games on my Nook  before bedtime - good times!

5 of our past presidents will be present for the dedication of the George W Bush Library - at SMU tomorrow.  Matt was involved with some of the preperations at the Library - and sent some pictures of the happs.

Matt is here at 14 seconds under the Caption:
I like the way he told us in his text message what he was doing today  - "We get to install the glass to protect the president today."

Way to go Matt - what a great work day for you and your crew!  Congratulations!

Leo is finally out of his cast and we are all so happy for him!  Now a little therapy, or time -  whichever is easiest, and he will be bouncing around as usual.  Looking forward to that!  One more family trip on the horizon, when he is able to travel.

It's very cold today, the temperature dropped 40+ degrees since dinner last night.  Chad and I had supper on the patio, and thoroughly enjoyed the nice breeze from the south, and the clear blue sky, I even turned on the ceiling fan in our bedroom before bed last night, since it was a little warm.

Casey and his friends are in Galveston kayak/fishing this week, and hopefully enjoying a nice respite!  Not sure if they have had the intense weather we have had or not, guess we will hear about it this weekend.

I'm not sure how it happened, but this Easter I walked away without any pictures from our Easter Celebration -??  I think I did more playing with the babies, visiting and eating then recording the memory - I hate when that happens!  Not one picture!  It was fun to be together, and watch Leo as he enjoyed his Easter Baskets - he gets them in multiples since he's just so gosh darn cute -and has so many admirers ;->

I realized this morning as I was thinking of what to blog about, that I could capture at least one of the goodies that Candice made for everyone, since Casey hadn't eaten his yet.  I know this picture doesn't do the goodies justice, but the Twinkie car with the Peep bunny driver and the jar of jelly beans covered in curious butterflys, is so sweet and clever!

It was a lovely, peaceful day, and I am thankful for my family, and all the blessings we enjoy, and the salvation our Creator has provided through our Lord, Christ Jesus.
