Wow - I cant believe how much Jack has grown in the last few weeks that we have had him.  Such a sweet little baby, everyday he just gets sweeter and sweeter, however the last picture Candice sent makes me wonder if possibly the sweetness is starting to wane - he looks sort of like a fair skinned Mr T.....?

I pitty the fool!!

The Dogwoods are in full bloom at Holly Lake Ranch, and they are gorgeous!  The tree right next to our balcony was full of blossoms, I reached out and pulled these close for a great picture.

The idea here was that I would photo shop me into this picture beside Chad, but I think I would rather see the Dogwoods instead, - leaving me out this post.  I might goof around with the picture of me and see if I can slip me in on another one.  Just like this one like it is!
This week, March 20th - we celebrated Chads birthday, we all went to Candice and Matts for BBQ, food was tasty and kiddos were fun as always!   I took a couple of pictures that night of him with the kids/grandkids  - these turned out well.  Love Leo's little belt, its supposed to keep his cast covered so nothing gets trapped there such as a toy truck, cookie, or maybe even his remote control - seems to work great :o)

 Such a blessed man!!!

Today was another beautiful pre spring day!  We drove up to Oklahoma so Nana could meet her newest great grandson, Jack Curtis.   Candice and I made a picnic lunch to take,  Ham and Cheese Quiche, Brocolli and Bacon Salad, Fresh Fruit and Pecan Pie.  The food, fellowship and time spent together was lovely as always.  Jack was such a little charmer, smiling and laughing and talking to Nana just like a little gentleman - while she held him.  Everything was going so well, until Mom got this shocked look on her face and stopped talking in midsentence.  Apparently Jack had taken his opportunity to christen his Great Nana - she was such a good sport about it, and was very relieved it was only a christening.

Today at Judy's birthday party we took this picture of Candice and Jack - thought it was so cute! Can't believe he is 2 months old - such a handsome little man!

I wasn't able to get any pictures of Judy with the babies, but I'm so happy with this one!  Oh well, sometimes photo opps just dont work out.

As much as I love our two Bradford Pear, in every season.  The branches grow so close to each other, that they create a bridge from one tree to the other allowing the birds to perch right above the sidewalk to our front door.  It is lovely to walk under the umbrella of greenery, but not when you have to step over bird droppings.  I asked Chad to trim the limbs above the sidewalk while he was triming the crepe myrtle yesterday, and I think the results are going to be great, at least until the growing season is underway.

The blossoms are so beautiful!  As I was picking up the trimmings from the yard, I thought I would use them for an arrangement to go in the house.  I had the perfect vase, and it turned out lovely, but it smells a lot like a fish hatchery, so we are enjoying the bouquet from inside, while the arrangment sits outside on the patio.  You cant have it all - all the time, unless you find a work around ;->

Its a beautiful clear day today.  And we are all breathing a sigh of relief after last weekend.  Our sweet baby Leo, fell and broke his little leg.  He was going to bed and somehow fell and twisted that little leg.  Matt and Candice rushed him to the closest care facility where they sent them down to Medical City .  The orothopedic surgeon  there was able (with no surgery) to manipulate the bone (with Leo highly sedated as you can see in the picture on the left) back in place and put Leo in a pant cast, where he will heal for the next 6 weeks, (oops, 5 weeks), we already made it through the first one - yay!!!  I can see Leo is happy about that news as well - that cast is really going to cramp his style for a few weeks!  We are getting lots of prayer support for his comfort while he heals, and adjusts to his little blue shell for the next few weeks.  Matt and Candice work tirelessly to make sure he is as comfortable as possible, which is no easy task.  The whole family is pitching in to help, hoping to make his recovery time as easy as possible.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.  Psalms 139:14
